If you're using Picasa you don't need to read any further, as I'm sure you already know this.  If you're not using Picasa for any reason, let me tell you one of the main reasons I do.   As you probably know Picasa is a pretty handy little free program for editing, managing and sharing your photos, but I rarely use it for any of those things.  What I love most about Picasa is the included Picasa Photo Viewer application.

If you haven't already, next time your surfing the glorious WWW on your mobile device stop in and check out dmeresources.com. Although I'm still tweaking for various display sizes, browsers, etc...the entire site, including our Professional Community, is mobile device friendly!

Log on and look up information in our Wiki, Forums, or Downloads right from the scene. When you do, be sure to try both the "Desktop" and "Mobile" versions of the site in your mobile browser to see which one works best for you and your device (you'll find the link at the bottom of the site when browsing from your mobile device).

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or recommendations. And remember, registered members of our community can now log in and submit a trouble ticket if something doesn't seem to be working right for you. As always, thanks for your valuable time and participation!

Brett Shavers, author and one of the main developers of the WinFE forensic boot environment, has released a free online training course on WinFE.

Online training is a great way to supplement classroom training, providing it's from a well organized and reputable source. It's great to see more options for online and flipped classroom training related to digital forensics, and I can assure you you'll be seeing even more soon! ;)

Oh yeah, things just got real. Sharp has announced an industry first today, with its 720p-recordin' 3D camera module. Intended for mobile devices like smartphones and point-and-shoot digicams, this miniature wonder will be sampling in July and hitting mass production before the end of the year.

Privacy policies & practices are key, but it goes both ways my friends.

YOU must develop & follow them, as well as the businesses, apps, sites, software, products, and services you use.

Have I gone mad about privacy? No, it's always been a concern of mine, from many perspectives.  It is also the topic of discussion for my audio podcast's January episodes. So there's that.

Surveillance Capitalism. Cambridge Analytica. Data Rights. Human Rights. Privacy Policies & Practices. CCPA.

If you're interested in any of these topics, maybe you can help me learn a few things?  Check out my Patreon posts and our January podcast episodes for my two cents.

Truly wishing you & yours all the best in 2020. Happy New Year my friends!

That is, if you could juxtapose them. Which you can't. Or if you could compare their claimed specs. Which you can't.
